Perhaps you have no meaning for the name Charis Pempengko. However, Oprah Winfrey, the most well-known TV host of our day, once referred to this young Filipino vocalist as the most talented girl in the world. And trust me, she is speaking from experience.
The entire world was aware of Charis when she was 14 years old. This came about as a result of her YouTube video’s phenomenal success. David Foster, a well-known producer and songwriter, recognized the singer’s potential and took him under his wing.
Even Foster himself accompanied Charis at one of the performances. The incredible rendition of the exceedingly difficult song “All By Myself” later that night truly shocked him and the audience.
